Welcome! I'm glad you found me.
As a writer, I place my characters in difficult circumstances and then figure out how to extricate them. Exciting! Historical romance is my favourite genre, but for personal enjoyment I read many others. There are so many wonderful stories out there, and even the Lord Jesus used stories to teach, inspire and encourage. My desire is to give you a genuine sense of satisfaction when you finish each of my books. As a singer, I've recorded several CDs with many of my own compositions - the last one named 'Tapestry'. When my husband was still alive, we performed them at many of our Good News festivals and other outreach events. As an artist, I am currently creating story characters on textured felt backgrounds to accompany my talks to various groups. If you are interested in a sneak peak, have a look at the Edwardian Ladies' sketches on the Books page. And finally, something a little more personal: I love cooking French style (that is, mixing whatever I have in the pan - plus a little garlic) and am delighted when my flowers bloom without the aid of a green thumb (which I don't possess). Humour? Oh yes! I share the same sense of absurdity as my adult son. |
